I had enough Zebra Stripe and fat quarter pieces left from Zebras quilt I to make another lap quilt, and I was on a roll. However, I didn't have any more of the jungle animals border print, but I still had more pieces of Zebra stripe. I decided to try a black-and-zebras foundation-pieced border. Of course, I was one piece short on the zebras, so I did some creative substitution of the black on the top and bottom borders. I was going to donate this quilt to Linus, too.....but I've been informed that my mother's first great-great grandchild will be arriving this year, so I'm considering quilting this and gifting it to my great-niece, instead.

Quilt for Willow

One of my friends is going to have a little girl named Willow. She already sounds precious and wanted to do a quilt for them. Her nursery theme is white and grey with arrows. So, I came up with this design and my best friend quilted it for me.

"Little Cowgirl Baby Quilt"

I made this quilt for a group of teachers at my husbands school. They wanted to give a special gift for the third grade teacher's first baby. Mom to be has always been a "Cowgirl at Heart". All of the teachers had so much fun at the baby shower and the quilt was the hit of the shower. The pink "minky" on the back shows the cute paisley quilting. I also made a matching zipper bag. Out of matching flannel, I made a receiving blanket, 2 burp cloths, and a wash cloth.

Made for my new great-niece. I fell in love with the bird fabric and just made the quilt around those colors.

Farm animal tumblers

I created this quilt for friends in Japan, who just had a baby boy. They like horses, dogs, and cats. Red is a lucky color for them. The white dots remind me of fireflies.

Bows and Arrows Baby Quilt

This is a baby quilt I made for my expecting coworker. I used Suzy Quilts free pattern "Bows and Arrows" and a curated collection of Art Gallery Fabrics to make this quilt. I used Dot to Dot quilting and a flower meander in the negative space to really make those arrows pop. This quilt was super quick and super cute! My coworker loved it :)
