Jelly Roll 2

I made Christmas quilts for both of my children this year. They were both the easy-peasy Jelly Roll 2 pattern.

Scrambled Batik

Had the fabric for many years but unsure as to what to do with it. After seeing Jenny's tutorial I was inspired. After making a few blocks I realized how awesome the patterns and colors were going to be together. Love how complex the quilted appears but so uncomplicated to do.

Don't throw stones

My baby sister wanted a quilt that was just white she said. I really could not stand the thought of no color in a quilt, although I have made white on white quilts before. I made the stones out of sageBatik fabric. I gave it to her for Christmas, she said it felt like Santa had came for the first time in a long while. She loved it.

Custom Twin Kite Flight

Kite Flight is a striking quilt! This quilt was a custom order. The pattern is a lap size, and I increased it to a twin. This quilt is available as a custom order in my quilt shop. https://www.etsy.com/shop/BusyHandsQuilts

Jelly Roll Waves Lap Quilt in Alison Glass

Jelly Roll Waves is a pattern I came up with as a quick way to use jelly rolls. The pattern includes instructions for 6 sizes from baby to king. The quilt can be made with jelly rolls which uses traditional piecing (and it's still quick!) and yardage for strip piecing (and this is even quicker)! I love this pattern so much that I made four of them within a week! Purchase the pattern here: http://go-2.it/BusyHandsPatterns This quilt is for sale in my quilt shop: https://www.etsy.com/shop/BusyHandsQuilts

Strip race

I started this as a fun game with my daughter to see who could finish there craft first.(she was arm knitting a scarf). I then decided that I wanted to give it to a friend and coworker haveing her first child. So I backed it with a very soft emoji print fabric.

Just 'Bee'

My bee-utiful friend Mary was told that she had cancer. First I held her, then we prayed and then I went home for a 3 day weekend and made her something to curl up with during treatments. I also made her a certificate. Oh yeah, the cutie pup...that's Bella Blue!!
