I've been holding on to about 200 5" squares of this gorgeous batik fabric. mostly because I couldn't bare to cut it up. But then I saw this pattern on Pinterest and knew it was perfect for this fabric.

Crazy Baby Bird

I modified the MSQC Crazy Bird pattern. I used smaller birds and framed everything. I call this quilt "Crazy Baby Bird".

Basically Patrick Paper Pinwheels

This is the second quilt I was able to make from the "twice the charm" collection I got from MSQC. The block pattern is from Quilter's Cache.

Meadow Friends

Had a 15 piece charm pack that I didn't know what to do with. I combined it with scraps from by stash and came up with this. Almost all scraps! Wish I could say it made a dent in the pile but no. It's the first time I tried quilting myself. This is for the new granddaughter that will arrive this weekend!

Basically Patrick Pixie Squares

I bought a Twice the Charm-Basically Patrick set from MSCQ. This is one of two quilts that I was able to make from the fabric. The pattern is Pixie Squares by Whistlepig Creek Productions.

Korbyn's Blankie

A gift for a teacher I had worked with one year. I got to practice my applique on the letters for her name. It was also my first time doing the satin binding. Love the way it turned out!

Scrappy's Cuddle

As I was making the Bee Quilt, at the local quilt store I found these adorable precuts she had made in dog fabrics. I *had* to have them! So I had to make Scrappy the puppy a quilt for himself! It was only the second quilt I made, and I tried out machine quilting it myself since it was so small. He loves it, and it stays on his bed next to my computer. My husband was so mad that the dog got a quilt before he did! lol. So he got a quilt next. I'm not sure what the name of the fabric is, since it was just something the store owner made small packages of off of bolts she had.
